Breathed new life into an '08 MacBook

This HDD is installed in a late 2008 MacBook with 8Gig RAM and Maverick OS X. Replacing the HDD was a snap, I time machined the OEM 250Gig HDD, swapped out the HDD with the new HDD, booted from the Time Machine external disk and reloaded. I haven't run any official test on the HDD speed or performance but I do use Photoshop CS3 regularly and I have nearly 15,000 emails and I could swear my PC runs better with the new HDD which may be because it is a faster RPM drive and there's much more temporary space for the OS. This small investment has allowed me to keep on using my MacBook for some time.
