The product package was very reasonably priced. The instructions to remove the old drive and install the new one were spot on. I haven't tried any of the additional software products yet but my new drive is working like a charm. No problems yet and I've been burning and watching DVDs like crazy. I always buy my Mac upgrade products from OWC because they always work without any problems.
I have had my 13.5 inch Macbook since 2006. It came with a DVD-R/CD R-RW drive and I was getting tired of using a add-on DVD RW drive to save /work with my big files. I saw this DVD-R-RW DL Drive on sale about 2 1/2 months ago and ordered it immediately. With your detailed instructions, available on your website, I replaced the internal DVD-R drive with this one and the difference is amazing. It has given my old macbook a new lease on life. I am using it almost as much as my desktop i-Mac.
